It has a 350mm square, a stop chamfer of 583mm and a 50mm diameter dowel for attachment into our newel bases. The post comes with a shadow gap included at the base of the post, which eliminates the need to manually add a shadow gap to the newel base. This newel post can be used with the Boyne stop chamfered spindles. These posts come unfinished and can be finished by painting,
