Land Drain (3)

A land drainage pipe also referred to as French Drain, is a flexible and coiled pipe that is majorly used to alleviate excess water from the surface. Achieving this function requires that the pipe be laid underground, especially in areas prone to water logging. Our land drainage pipes are corrugated, and we often stock our stores with various lengths of perforated and unperforated pipes. For the coils, we have stocked multiple lengths ranging from 25m, 50m to 100m, with thicknesses varying from 60mm to 160mm.

The perforated and unperforated varieties work in slightly different ways. For instance, the perforated land drainage pipes are used to collect water through the small holes surrounding the pipe. Water can seep from the ground into the pipe through the holes, after which it is carried away. On the other hand, unperforated land drainage pipes are used to distribute surface water; they have holes that enable them to direct water to the main watercourse, such as a river, water tank, or stream.

We also supply land drainage fittings alongside the pipes and coils. When installing land drainage pipes, it is also essential to have tools like wrenches, pliers, pipe cutters, and spanners.
