Roof Windows (116)
Most modern building designs in- cooperate the use of roof windows. A roof window, by definition, is a window that is designed to open outwards and is often part of the roof design. In most cases, people confuse skylights and roof windows. However, it is essential to note that there is a slight difference between the two. For instance, a roof window, unlike a skylight, is multipurpose as it allows the entry of fresh air and light from the space, especially when desired. Another difference is that a roof window does not require directing light through any tube or channel to provide lighting to the interior of the building.
We have a variety of roof windows, including curved and flat roof windows. Our flat roof windows are made from acrylic, the most commonly used plastic gazing material. We have also stocked our store with windows made of copolyester and polycarbonate. The materials used here are usually essential in providing additional properties such as impact resistance.
Several building materials are required while fixing roof windows on the roof. These materials/ tools include adhesive tiles, felt & membranes, and roofing tiles.
