The DeWalt DCS782XW2 XR Mitre Saw is a high-performance cordless mitre saw designed for both first and second fix applications on the jobsite. Powered by an 18V XR brushless motor, it delivers exceptional cutting performance with an impressive cross-cut capacity of 310 x 90mm and the ability to cut skirting boards up to 165mm high when positioned upright against the fence. The compact and lightweight design improves portability while maintaining the cutting capacity required for demanding professional applications. Engineered for accuracy and efficiency, the saw features dual horizontal rails, a machined base and fence, and a stainless steel detent plate with common mitre settings at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 35.3°, and 45°. The XPS Shadow Line system provides fast and accurate blade alignment without calibration, while the cam lock mitre control allows quick adjustment from 0°-50° left and 0°-60° right. A double bevel system enables accurate bevel cuts up to 49° in both directions. Additional features include Wireless Tool Control for automatic start/stop dust extraction when paired with compatible DEWALT extractors, an AirLock dust port for simple dust extraction connection, and regenerative braking technology that redirects energy back into the battery to help maximise runtime. Supplied with 2 x 8.0Ah XR batteries, the DCS782XW2 offers the power of corded performance with the freedom of cordless operation.
