Refunds & Returns
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from us. If you’ve changed your mind or something’s not quite right, here’s everything you need to know about returning items to Chadwicks.ie.
Changed your mind? No problem.
If you’re a retail customer and you’ve decided a product’s not for you, you can return it to one of our stores within 14 days of receiving it. Just make sure:
The product is unused, in its original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
You’ve got proof that you bought it from us.
We can’t accept returns without prior agreement, and we may ask to see evidence that the item came from us.
Please note: If we have purchased the item as a special order where Extended Lead Times are noted on the product and we’ve agreed to take something back, there’s a 15% re-stocking fee.
Faulty or damaged goods? We’ve got you covered.
If something’s not right, let us know within 14 days of getting your delivery. Then, simply:
Bring the item to your local Chadwicks branch, along with your proof of purchase.
Let our team know what the issue is — we’ll take it from there.
If we agree the item’s damaged or faulty (not from normal wear and tear or accidental damage), we’ll accept the return and issue a credit note for a replacement.
Just so you know:
We don’t guarantee goods are suitable for any specific use unless we’ve said so in writing.
It’s up to you to check the product meets your needs.
If something does go wrong, our liability is limited to the value of the item — we’re not responsible for any knock-on effects like lost time or business.
How and when we’ll refund you
Once we’ve received and checked the item, we’ll process your refund within 5–10 working days. Refunds go back to the original payment method, unless we agree otherwise.
Delivery-related issues
We deliver to the address you’ve agreed with us.
If the delivery location isn’t accessible or safe, we might need to rearrange — and we’ll let you know of any extra costs involved.
If no one’s around to sign for the goods, we might leave them in a safe spot and take a photo and GPRS stamp as proof of delivery.
Missing items? Tell us about any shortages within 7 days of the invoice.
Haven’t received your order? Let us know within 14 days of the invoice date.
Trade customers and special terms
