SikaFiber®-200 is a micronized cellulosic fiber for use in concrete, screeds and mortars to help distribute cracks caused by drying and plastic shrinkage, and thus reduce the risk of early cracking. This natural fiber is an alternative for light crack control reinforcement.
Features And Benefits
- Disperse very easily in fresh concrete during mixing
- Create a very dense fibre network to help distribute stresses in the curing concrete that cause larger cracks due to drying and plastic shrinkage
- Fibres can replace traditional wire mesh used to control plastic shrinkage (but should not be used for structural use)
